5 more weeks until summer vacation! I am ready to out of school: actually I have been waiting since we first arrived at Stevenson High School. I wasn’t ready to go to school in September 8th, but my parents are just too focused on school. They keep lecturing me how they want me to get a better education than they had a chance to. To be honest my parents never received a great education because they didn’t have a chance to enter high school.
Well I always agree with my mom and dad. Anyways let’s get back on track and talk about my summer vacation, for 2010. I don’t think I’m going anywhere for summer vacation but that okay. As long as I get to sleep in I’m perfectly fine. I am looking forward to this summer because I don’t have to wake up at 8:30 in the morning to go to track practice and I don’t have to any homework. I am basically free during summer vacation. I am a little mad because my friends in my neighborhood are going out of town for two weeks when I’m at home all alone. One of my friends is Christian and he going to Italy for a month and a half and my other friend is Angelo and he’s going to Cancun for two weeks. I get to go to Livonia for my whole Spring break. How fun does that sound? My great uncle Nico has been talking to me about fishing near lake Huron to go fishing. I love fishing because I love catching big game. Every October we go up north and fish for King Salmon. Now that is big!. This Summer I am going to the pool every day I will be outside and going over my friend’s house. We usually go to the pool and maybe get my skin a little darker. I will try to hang out with my friends as much as I can this summer and watch new releases in the movie theater Well I am expecting a great summer this year and hoping for the best

As my first SIMUN experience, I was extremely nervous when it was Tuesday. When it came down to Wednesday I was a little pumped because I had to dress up. Honestly I like to dress up because it makes me feel professional and strict business. Now after lunch was my 5th hour which is time for SIMUN. I was sweating like crazy and was extremely nervous. The first day actually went well. I gave a good speech and asked a couple of questions. I thought SIMUN was a great experience as a first time participant. I thought SIMUN was really hard in the first hour. I didn’t speak or ask questions until I learned the proper method of how to ask questions and how to ask to speak. SIMUN was just a great experience and was a lot of fun. SIJMUN is a great experience for any freshman or any new comers. This really helped my speaking skills and my organization skills.
Personally I thought I did alright for a new comer. I didn’t participate the first day as much as I did the last day. I was worried I wasn’t going to participate at all on Tuesday when we were warming up. “It’s really hard not to participate” quote by Andre Roberts. That quote was honestly true because I called myself in the Speakers list and I spoke and gave a well speech. Our mentor, Chris, helped me a lot and I thank him for that. He kept pushing me to be on the speakers list and ask more questions. But overall he kept motivating me and telling me I was doing a great job.
On Tuesday night the first task I needed to accomplish was the clothes I was going to wear on Wednesday. That was the easy part but the hard part was writing out a speech when you were called on the Speakers list. Every news flash through my speech off so I kept revising and revising until I had it right. The Scenarios weren’t too bad because they were the questions we had to answer during Spring Break. Every time we started a new Scenario I pulled out my answer to the questions and participated as much as I could.
I will have to participate much more next year because I only spoke three times. Ask more questions and now that I got use to the method I will do a better job of sounding professional. I will help any person that is struggling with the Scenario or when they are stuck with something. I will participate more in caucus time and make alliances with other nations

Bud not Buddy is a classical book that just brings my attention. I started to read this book in 6th grade but never had a chance to finish. Now that I do and have better reading skills, I can read this book like a gentleman.
This book starts off with what I think is segregation. Bud is African American and he is the protagonist in this fascinating book. Bud is an only child with a mother that passed away and has no clue who his father is. Bud or Clarence lives in a foster home and seeks step parents. A family named the Asmoses chooses Clarence to as a foster child. Once Bud arrives at the house, the Asmoses son, Todd, starts to pick on him. He beats him up but Bud threw in some good punches. As Todd’s mom came in the room, he starts to cry and blames all the mess and bruise on his face on Bud. Now wait a minute, shouldn’t guests be treated nicely? Well unluckily for Bud, they honestly don’t care how they treat him. Mrs. Asmoses clearly takes Todd’s side f the deal and punishes Bud.
The Asmoses make Bud sleep in the shed where they kept old foster children in as said in the book. The shed is very hot and very dark. Bud sleeps through the night and in the morning wakes up to a hive of bees in the top of the shed. Hundreds of bees sting him but Bud keeps his cool and ignores the pain.
This book was taken place during the great depression. At this point of time there was a lot of segregation going on. White and colored couldn’t go to the same school, bathroom, or restaurants. This is a very interesting book and recommends it and don’t check the book late because the librarian will make you pay seven dollars if you do
I would have to consider helping the United States in conquering the nuclear weapons in Pakistan. The United States is a close ally and Pakistan is one of our biggest rivals. India supports The United States idea of going inside the country of Pakistan and safely takes the nuclear weapons off the terrorist’s group hands. If this terrorist was Al-Qaeda or the Taliban then we have to act fast because that would give them a free pass to conquer the world. India doesn’t like the idea of just going in Pakistan and taking the nuclear power safe. That would make the United States look really bad and would make a couple of countries pretty mad. That would also make India look bad considering we helped the United States out. India is willing to let the United States use a military base for air support to engage these actions in a much safer, closer destination to Pakistan

I was an outcast 3 years ago when I first moved to Livonia. I didn’t know anybody and school was right around the corner. I lived in Detroit my whole life and I wasn’t ready to move for the first time. Detroit is unsecure, unsafe, and it’s a crazy place.
That day came by so fast when the semi pulled up in our driveway. We had to put everything inside our house in to the semi. Although it took us all day, we managed to get 99 percent of all the stuff. It was night time and we were ready to leave the old house. We slept the night one more time, and in then I gave the last goodbyes and we were out of there. We arrive at the new house; we unpack everything and place it in the garage. Since our house was a little custom made and was the different house from the block, you can tell where I live right away. Our house is a three car garage door, with 4 bedrooms and three and a half baths. The day we arrived, sunny and humid, we decided to pull out some chairs, and just have a relaxing day outside our house. I see four kids coming to our house. The walk around in the street bouncing a basketball up and down. They wanted me to notice them but I wouldn’t say anything because I was the new kid.
After ten minutes they finally spoke and asked me if I wanted to play. Knees trembling, arms shaking, I said yes. Since basketball was my favorite sport I was confident I would dominate. I was in the back of the group because I had butterflies in my stomach. We walk for two minutes and we arrive at my friend’s house, knowing I would dominate these kids. We had an uneven number of people so I called my brother to play with us. He was tall and jumped really high so I wasn’t as confident as before. We play a little game of 3 on 3. They were really amazed how good I was in basketball so the next game; they started whining because they all wanted to be on the same team as me. So I picked a shy kid that didn’t talk as much and he was a bad player I wouldn’t lie. Dribbling and schooling, it came down to the last second and I score the winning basket. My mom comes after me, ready to yell, and tells me I have to go back home. I was happy I met these kids because we are still friends till this present day

Every year for the past 5 years my dad has been taking me to a fishing trip. This event takes place in the beginning of October and ends only three weeks after. This fishing trip is very special to me because its the only fishing trip I go to for the whole year. At this time, Chinook Salmon swim upstream in Manistee River. This trip is five years away from Livonia and is located near the city Cadillac.
Three years ago when I went to Manistee River I had no idea what to expect. Since our fishing years has been bipolar as in one year we have a good year and the other is horrible. As we got to our campsite which is called “Sandust Hole”. As we always do every year we set camp first. It takes at least an hour or two to set everything up and when we are done we have to eat or my mommy will yell at me. I get done eating and I get the news that I am too young to fish at night because the river has a lot of logs and debris. My cousin decides to stay with me so I won’t stay alone and we party all night until we got sleepy at 3 a.m. Next morning we have breakfast and now I have a chance to go fishing all day on Saturday. Our secret fishing spot is half an hour away from our campsite so everyone is exhausted when we actually arrive. The river is around 300 feet wide and up to five to six feet deep. Since I am just a little taller than five feet I have to stay in the shallow.
To get in the river there is a ten foot slope of dirt and rocks so we have to be very careful. I achieve of not sliding down which I have done before and it was not pretty. I get my rod and cast 30 yards of 25 lb test line. I didn’t hook anything the first try. I was fishing for 10 hours on Saturday and I caught three twelve lb king salmon. My dad only let me stay until 9 p.m. but at night its to our advantage because the fish are blind I go back to camp and I have to eat some tacos. I go to sleep because again my dad didn’t let me go fishing at night. On Sunday which is a sad day because it’s the last day of our fishing trip. I eat breakfast and head down to our fishing spot. I managed to catch one more fish and this fish was small. As my dad yells “We have to levae” I tell ask him if I can cast my line one more time. He told me I wasn’t going to catch anything and when I cast my line I feel a tug and when I looked into the river I hear and see and hear a big splash and I yell to my uncle to get the net because I have a big one
Manistee River
Back when I was 7 I use to love having friends over my house. One night I had an idea to fight ghosts that don’t really exist. I couldn’t really see them but that night aliens came to earth to send me these red and green goggles so I can see objects I can’t normally see. I start to look at the goggles and I see there is a lot of buttons and this technology is around 500 years ahead from ours. There is x-ray vision, radiation levels, thermal and my favorite night vision goggles. Delaila is a hot friend of mine and asks if she can join, and I said yes she can. So we hunt down ghost and we make our way to the kitchen. I find a fat guy eating named Kris. He was as tall as black bear on his two feet and as wide as a dually 3200 ram from 2003I true my x-ray vision and see a sight that is really disturbing. I yelled at him to say “ We are being terrorized by ghosts!” He yells as he takes a big bucket of KFC chicken with him.
So I have my crew of two people and cool goggles. Delaila, Kris and I turn on the television and we are informed that the population on earth was cut in half because ghosts on earth were eating people. So we need to find protection and the first idea that game in mind was a knife. Call me stupid but Dalaila told me how was I going to cut something I didn’t see? So the aliens come back and give me a Model 1873 Old West Lever. They said this is a special made gun that only kills objects you can’t see with a naked eye. We hear a loud noise outside the house so I put the goggles on and put it to thermal vision and see there is a huge object standing 50 feet away from me. The object was the head boss of the entire ghost population on earth and is the reason why the earth population is decreasing at a fast rate. I pull out my model 1873 and I start to fight the ghost. The ghost was really strong and I couldn’t fight him by myself. I hear a semi truck honk its horn. The truck started to make weird moves and was transforming. I recognized its face a Optimus Prime. I had an autobot on my side to fight the ghost. The ghost was helpless as my model 1873 was stronger since Optimus gave me a little boost on it. We aimed our weapons at the ghost and “BAM”!! The ghost was incinerated and world peace came back to earth
